Terms of Use

1. Service Description

AICommunityLab is a community platform where registered users can share, comment on and rate content related to artificial intelligence. The service is provided free of charge, without any commercial purpose. There is no private messaging functionality; interactions take place through public posts and comments.

3. Registration and Sign-in

• Sign-in is performed exclusively via a Google account (OAuth).
• The user must be at least 16 years old, or have valid parental consent under applicable law.
• Each user may operate one account; impersonation and shared accounts are not allowed.
• The user is responsible for the security of their Google account and for activity carried out under their account.
• The user may delete their account at any time from the account settings or by emailing aicommunitylab@gmail.com.

4. Acceptable Use

By posting comments or other content, you agree to follow these rules:

• Be respectful; personal attacks and harassment are not allowed.
• Stay on topic and contribute constructively to the discussion.
• Do not post content that violates applicable law or third-party rights.

5. Prohibited Content

The following content is prohibited and will be removed:

• Illegal content under Hungarian or EU law
• Hate speech, incitement to violence, discrimination
• Defamation, insults, threats, doxxing
• Sexual content involving minors or any non-consensual sexual material
• Content that infringes intellectual property or other third-party rights
• Spam, advertising, scams, malware or phishing
• Personal data of others published without a lawful basis
• Automated, scripted or bot-driven posting without prior approval

6. Moderation

The operator reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

• Edit, hide or remove any content that violates these terms or applicable law;
• Issue warnings, temporarily suspend or permanently ban accounts;
• Restrict access to specific features in case of repeated or serious violations;
• Cooperate with the competent authorities where legally required.

Where reasonably possible, the operator will inform the affected user about a moderation action and the reasons for it.

7. User Responsibility

You are solely responsible for the content you publish on the platform, including its legality, accuracy and originality. You warrant that you have the necessary rights to post the content and that it does not infringe copyright, personality rights, privacy or any other third-party right. You agree to hold the operator harmless from claims arising from content you have posted.

8. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of the content you post. By publishing content on the platform, you grant the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, non-commercial licence to host, display, store, archive and moderate the content for the purpose of operating the service. This licence ends when you delete the content, except to the extent that retention is required for legal, security or backup purposes.

The platform's code, design, branding and aggregated content layout are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied or reused without permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

• The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind.
• The operator does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability and may suspend or discontinue the service at any time.
• The operator is not liable for content posted by users or for any damages resulting from such content.
• To the extent permitted by Hungarian law, the operator's liability is limited to damages caused intentionally or by gross negligence.

10. Privacy

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

11. Complaints and Reports

Users can report illegal or rule-breaking content, raise complaints and request the removal of specific content by emailing aicommunitylab@gmail.com. The operator will respond to substantive complaints within 30 days.

12. Changes to the Terms

These Terms of Use may be updated to reflect changes in the service, legal requirements or community needs. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the last update shown at the top. Continued use of the service after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by Hungarian law and the applicable EU law. Any disputes that cannot be settled amicably shall be resolved by the Hungarian courts having jurisdiction over the operator's place of residence.
